1. Purpose & Market Validation

CLT Startup House is currently in the concept validation phase. We are gauging market interest before committing to a physical location or lease. By expressing interest or paying a deposit, you are helping us validate demand for this concept in Charlotte.

This is an experiment. We are testing whether there is sufficient interest from founders and the startup community to make this concept viable. No physical space currently exists, and launch timing is not guaranteed.

2. Refundable Deposit Terms

The $500 deposit is a fully refundable expression of interest. Key terms:

• Fully refundable: You may request a full refund at any time, for any reason, by emailing drew@stealthx.co.
• Not a reservation: Paying a deposit does not guarantee you a spot in CLT Startup House. Final participants will be selected at our sole discretion based on fit, timing, and other factors.
• If we proceed: Your deposit will be credited toward your first month's membership fee or similar participation cost.
• If we don't proceed: If we determine there is insufficient interest or decide not to move forward for any reason, all deposits will be refunded in full within 30 days of that decision.
• Refund timeline: Refund requests are processed within 5-10 business days.

3. Selection Process

Expressing interest or paying a deposit does not guarantee participation in CLT Startup House. If we move forward with the concept:

• We will have limited capacity (3-4 startups maximum).
• Final participants will be selected at our sole discretion.
• Selection criteria may include stage of company, team composition, product focus, culture fit, and other factors.
• We reserve the right to decline any applicant for any reason.

If you pay a deposit but are not selected, your deposit will be refunded in full.

4. Timeline & Launch

There is no guaranteed timeline for CLT Startup House. We are in the early validation phase and will only proceed if we determine there is sufficient interest and the right conditions exist.

Potential milestones (not guaranteed):

• Interest validation (current phase)
• Location scouting and selection
• Lease negotiation and buildout
• Member selection and onboarding
• Launch

We will communicate progress via email to those who have subscribed or expressed interest.

5. Communications

By paying a deposit or subscribing, you agree to receive email communications about CLT Startup House progress, updates, and related information. You may unsubscribe at any time.

We will not share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. No Guarantees

To be clear:

• We make no guarantees that CLT Startup House will launch.
• We make no guarantees about location, timing, pricing, amenities, or any other specifics.
• Concept details shared on this website are illustrative of our vision but may change significantly.
• Paying a deposit creates no contractual obligation on our part to provide space or services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLT Startup House, Drew Burdick, StealthX LLC, and any affiliated parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in this interest validation process.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of any deposit you have paid.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to those who have paid deposits. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
